Computing infrastructure & HPC guidelines
Our groups run their analyses on shared high-performance computing infrastructure hosted at the institute. To help everyone use it well, we maintain a living set of internal guidelines, written and kept up to date by lab members themselves.
These guidelines are internal to the lab and are not published here, but here is what they cover.

💬 A dedicated Teams channel
A Teams channel is in place for everything computing-related. New members are added when they arrive and find the link to the guidelines there. It is also the place to ask questions, report problems with the servers, and share solutions: no question is too basic, and answers benefit everybody.
🤝 A lab member at your side
Every newcomer is paired with an experienced member of the lab who helps them get set up during their first weeks: accounts and access, first connection to the servers, running a first analysis, and all the practical details that are quicker to learn with someone next to you.
